At Ann's death (1870) he was described as a Particular Baptist Minister.

In 1861 Census she, her sisters Mary & Jane and her brothers John & Henry were boarding with Phoebe Dawes at 10 Nelson Square, Southwark; all five were described as living on income from funds. In 1867 she witnessed the marriage of her sister Jane at Ramsey, when her husband officiated.
