In 1891 Census he was at Buckhurst, Mark Beech, Cowden with his wife and their children Rhoda, Mercy, Alfred & Emily. In 1901 Census they were still at Mark Beech, with their son Alfred, and their daughter Kate's daughter Gertrude (described as their daughter in the Census, with Sarah Ann's age given as 45). ?Died 4Q1919, Sevenoaks age 73.
