Joined South Wales Borderers; served S.African War 1900-02 and WW I 1914-19; DSO 1917; CMG 1918; Temp.Brig-Gen.1918-9; DA & QMG Peshawar District 1920; Temp.Col.on Staff 1921; AA & QMG Burma 1923-4; retired 1925. At CGdeR/KMCP wedding 1902. Will 14.1.36 proved at London 7.5.1940, executors his widow & F C Woodbridge, solicitor.
